Ronald G. Riffle is the minister of The Redeemer’s Church West. Known as "Pastor Ron", he has been in full time Christian service for 27 years. Pastor Ron and his wife Orella have been married for 40 years and have 3 grown children. The children and their mates and the 12 grandchildren all serve the Lord in their various communities in the U.S.
Pastor Ron sensed the call of God on his life at an early age but did not respond completely until he was about 28 years of age. At that time he began preparation for ministry. During the time of preparation he worked as a construction electrician in the Columbus area and attended O.S.U. In 1969 he was ordained as Minister of Youth in a denominational church. Receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit in the same year opened many avenues of ministry throughout the "body of Christ" in the central Ohio area. In 1971 he left his secular employment and began a "faith" work with outreach to both Christian and non-Christian; teaching about salvation, baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. This was a time of learning first hand the faithfulness of Jesus.
And, in 1974, in obedience to what he felt the Lord had spoken to his heart he
moved to the Westside of Columbus with a vision to help start a church there.
As is said, "the rest is history". 1988 brought the erection a church
building at the present location of 2199 Holt Road. Pastor Ron says he knows
that his calling is most assuredly pastoring . His first love next to the
Lord is ministering to people. His favorite scripture is Romans 1:16: "For I
am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto
salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the
Greek."
